How hard,and whats involved in changing front wheel bearings on peugeot 406 estate

it really depends on how capable you are! the front hub assembly will have to be completely dismantled. although it is easier to use a bearing press, you can drift the bearings out & drift them back in. you will also find a strong vice very useful.
