Loss of power 1993 ford Transit camper 2.5D?

My camper drives normally for the first 5 miles then begins to stutter and loose power as if fuel is not getting through. If I stop the van for a few minutes it can be alright for another 5 miles and then begins to stutter again. Could it be the fuel pump???
