eng. will not turn over?

I have a ranch king modle13k679205. I changed the Batt., silones, fuse, key switch, pto safty switch,and new belt. I had it running then made adjustment on the shaft rod to tighten the belt, after that nothng. I put the rod back where it was and, still nothing.

Is getting fire but no gas there a braken wire off the carberator I guess it's work when i put gas in the craberator by hand ...

There could be another safety switch on the linkage somewhere, you could try tracing the wires back from the solenoid. sorry that is all I can think of.

It's a lawn tractor, No I did not turn it on it's side. IT seem to be the deck leveling arm, I adjusted the rod and how it want start. I can by pass the solenoiles to get it to start. I replace it also. thanks

Did you tip it up on its side?

Some mowers have a breather pipe running from the crank case to the air filter. In certain circumstances tipping them can cause the oil to run up the breather into the air intake. When the mower is returned upright, the oil will run down the carb into the cylinder. It may run fine and drive into its shed, but next time it wont turn over.
To confirm, remove the spark plug and turn over the engine. If oil comes out, clean the air intake and carb with carb cleaner. If not, other fault.
