MY INDESIT WASHING MACHINE WILL NOT EMPTY,AND I CANT GET THE FILTER OUT TO CLEAN IT,ALSO IT MAKES A TERRIBLE NOISE IF I PUT IT ON DRAIN CYCLE TO TRY AND REMOVE THE WATER

To empty your machine drop the end of the waste pipe into a large bowl on floor level, once empty tilt the machine 45 degrees backwards[lean it against a wall or something] then look underneath and remove the fat rubber hose going to the pump and you should find the foreign body, the pump will be fine.

Sounds like your filter is blocked you will proberbly find money or something in there which the fan blade will be hitting on this could have damaged your pump so it may need replacing
