How do you replace the side light bulb on the drivers side on an Almera 1.6 Y reg

Hi - sorry not an answer - but can ou tell me how you managed to change yours as mine has done exactly the same - same side, its jus i cant actually remove the bulb

Thanks for this Eddie! Had half the front off trying to get the light fitting out then googled and found this! Doh! A word of caution though, careful when twisting in the bulb holder with pliers - managed to crack mine but works ok. What till you try getting at the oil filter! Nissan really don't want you doing your own maintenance!

just done the passengers side so drivers should be the same, I unclipped the wire and got a pair of pliers and rotated the bulb holder anti clockwise, (right if you are facing the windscreen) take your time as it is very awkward and there's not a lot of room, it eventually turned about a cm so it popped out and the bulb was replaced and the whole process was reversed, hope this helps but have to say again take your time as it took me five attempts and several searches on the internet, good luck
