BAD-POOL-CALLER 0x000000C2 (0x0000007, 0x00000CD4, 0x84F0AA18, 0x8505D540)?

Originally i was getting a 0x00000024 stop error when trying to turn on my computer. This prevented me from running Windows XP. I tried booting from the original windows CD, and then running chkdisk /p /r. When it finished and i exited, i would still come up with the same error. So i decided to see if i could install XP to my external hard drive. Before i started that process i notice there was an option to try repairing the Windows XP that was already installed on my internal hard drive. I selected that option. It looked like it deleted a bunch of files and then started reinstalling them. The problem is no i am stuck in the middle of the Windows XP setup process and it keeps coming up with a blue screen that says BAD-POOL-CALLER 0x000000C2 (0x0000007, 0x00000CD4, 0x84F0AA18, 0x8505D540). I cannot restart in safe mode, evertime i try restarting it goes back to trying to install windows. Is there anything i can do?
