vauxhall astra 1600 sxi?

front pads have a spring holding them in place but it is loose and rubbing on my wheel how does it fasting in place

If the spring looks like a bent piece of wire then it will fit into a hole in the caliper. There are two holes one top one bottom then the spring clips behind the carrier.Can be a bit of a struggle to fit.
