speedfight 1 making alot of noise from engine/exhaust?
Hi I've got a mk1 speedfight that has suddenly started making alot of noise from around the engine/exhaust area.I've taken the exhaust off and checked it over and found no holes, and also changed end can, but no differance. Any ideas as to what could be wrong?
exhaust noise is completely different to squeak pretty distinctive, check for a crack in your barrell were your studs screw into, overtightening is a probable cause, squeaking or rubbing either a drive belt noise or tyre noise?

It's a loud noise like the exhaust is blowing, but it's not.Also the gaskets are fine and not leaking.When you switch off the engine you get a loud squeaking/rubbing sound?

what sort of noise?is it rattling or grinding or whining or just sounding like an exhaust blowing?is the gasket ok where it bolts to the barrel? thats usually where they leak.
