Triton Jade?

My Triton Jade shower has water pouring from overflow, much much worse when shower is switched on.
I may have a faulty solenoid valve, but would this cause the water to flow from overflow pipe when shower is switched on?

Any ideas?

The prd has operated probably due to overpressure inside the tank. Triton website has the instruction book for the Jade. www.tritonshowers.com
