i have a green machine weed eater .the starter pull cord has broke .i have taken the cover off but it seems you have to take shaft off to get inside .cant figure out how turn shaft off
If it is a clutch machine you will need to remove the tube housing, behind here you will find the clutch, this will be held on with a nut which will have to be removed before the starter housing can be completly removed.
