Instructions?

I have just been left a McCulloch Trimmac 240 strimmer, unfortunately without the instructions. I can start it but the motor runs really fast. I feel sure that I have not got the set up right. Has anybody got an instruction manual they could email.

If this is a clutchless machine, it is supposed to run fast at idle, if it did not it would stall.
