Removing the speedo drive on a speedfight?

Hi all could anyone help, my speedo drive has packed up on my peugeot speedfight, I am trying to get it off but I cant seem to I have taken the wheel off and undone the nut on the hub, am I right in saying the hub and brake disc should does slide off? But it seems to be stuck on the spindle any ideas how I can get it off?

rock the disc very very gently once the hub nut is off it, nothing holds it on will just be a bit stuck, normal
