im trying to change my o/s cv gaaitor and have no idea how to do it i cant find a manual anywhere and have an mot due in a week been quoted a price of 140 but would like to fix it on the cheap any advice?

matthew, take a trip to your local motorfactor and ask for a cv repair kit you dont have to take any wheels or parts off your car the gaitor come split down middle so you just cut old one off and cut new one to size and slide it over the drive shaft and glue the gaitor together and then plastic ties are used to keep it in place all instructions are in kit about£8/10 quid
