What's wrong with my 2005.. 4 stroke yamaha wave runner?

It does not use oil while running the jet ski but the oil level will go down below dipstick after sitting for a week...What could cause this???Thanks

My local dealer informed me that you must apply grease over the entire oil filter as they do rust out and leak oil. Hope you fix it before it blows out under power.
