clutch adjustment?

How to adjust a clutch on a Suzuki TC 125 1973 to 1977
terry, May 2010
Hi, clutch adjustment for the TS/TC125 & RV125 1964 to 1976 as follows:
1) remove magneto cover. 2) Loosen locknut, then turn in the adjustment screw until it seats lightly. 3) Back out adjustment screw 1/4 turn and tighten locknut. 4) Loosen clutch cable locknut, (here my picture shows this adjuster to be the one on the engine case) 6)Turn cable adjuster as required to provide 4mm play at the clutch lever,(picture shows a 4mm gap near the cable- nipple end, when you pull the lever) then tighten locknut. Hope thats some help.

TC 125? I a guessing this is siilar to the british TS125.

Two points to adjust. One on the handlebar. It has a sort of lock nut system. you turn the screw out and this pulls the cable tighter. The other way is if you follow the cable down there will be a lever type set up on the side of the engine.
However I am guessing that the cable may be knacked and need replacing or indeed the clucth may be shot and needs replacing. Adjusting only goes do far.
