What does Cartridge Error mean on HP 5610 All-in-one printer?

I changed cartridge made about 10 copies, worked good, turned it off for the night. Next morning it would not work and cartridge error appears.Need help

Try this first clean the electrical contacts on the cartridges and carriage with cotton swab and alcohol, if the cleaning does not solve the problem, you may have a defective cartridge.
