My 1999 90 series dryer won't start, just makes a buzzing sound. I tried to take the back off to look for anything obvious but it won't come off even with all the screws out.
If your motor is buzzing when you try to start the dryer and there is nothing holding the motor back from spinning such as, a clogged blower wheel or a jammed drum, your motor is probably bad and needs to be replaced.

Hi,
I was able to get the front panel off, cleaned all the lint out and tried again. noticed that the blower fan tries to turn but dosen't move more than 1/4 of an inch.

lint filter is in front by door. the buzzing sound seems to be comming from the lower back area
