Why Does My Kickstart Grind Once the Engine Is Started ???
My engine works fine but i cant start it ! my electric start doesnt work cause my spark plug is always oily and my alternator or battery is broke. but my light n tht work.. i dont know, so i depend on my kickstart at the moment, my starter pinion broke, and my kickstart quadrant rounded off and my starter gear (belt pulley) got all messed up, now iv got it all re-newed, i put it all together. it works fine, it spring back, it grips on, theres alot of compression, but if i kick it hard enough for the engine to start the starter gear (belt pulley) keeps scraping against something. its the little fan bits that stick out that seem to be hitting/scraping against the kickstart quadrant. i dont see how its hitting it ? need help ! words, a picture, a video, anything !
