wipers not sitting in park position on a vauxhall vectra 03 model ?

is there a reason wy my wipers dont sit properly and in working mode they bang downwards before they go up

i tried to do what peesian said but no success so it must be the crank arms that need repositioning looks like i`m goin to the garage!!!!

sounds like crank arm on motor needs re-positioning.[if its on a taper fit]

replace wiper motor

undo wiper arms and remove them then use wiper switch after stopping it turn ignition off and refit wiper arms
