I also have an Hotpoint Aquarius dryer, its a VTD65. I have just asked the same question. Mine is very hard to get to but i have been in touch with someone who fixes them and i have been told that he would have to collect it as it isnt a quick thing to do and he's experienced and he's told me that it will cost £42. Looks like i'll have to pay that as i wouldnt have a clue how to get all the front off my machine. Sorry if this doesnt help, as i cant seem to find any help either.
