Gener.8 Steam generator?

My steam generator suddenly stopped steaming. When I try to use the steam it just makes a wirring noise but no steam

Hi Purchased a ener.8 some time ago from a TV sahopping channel.It worked to begin with but now wont switch off the steam flow. Am retired electrician and about to open up the item to find out what is wrong. Will perhaps be looking for a source of replacement parts soon.
