I wish to upgrade my hard drive on my acer travemate 292lmi laptop

easy, there is a pannel underneath the laptop where your hdd lives.

just open this and pull out your existing hdd take off the caddy and fit it to your new hdd, then simply slot your new hdd in.

you will however have to install your OS again
