ive tried to make a tool like in the haynes manuel but both examples they show dont fit or match? i wanted to get it off to remove the restriction washer

you can either hold the flywheel still which is bolted on the other end of the crankshaft or use an air impact gun or an electric impact gun if you know someone who has one if the variator holder you have does not fit ,ok hope that helps j.p :) take the washer out and there may also be a pipe called a disruptor that comes off the side of the exhaust pipe that can be cut off and welded back over which will help the exhaust gas flow ok mate
