he fogot to tell you you need the e/eprom (chip) to be programmed or the machine still wont work! you might have to carefully de-solder the eprom (chip) from the old board using a tempreture controlled soldering iron (optional, and solder sucker ) and put onto the new board.
alturnativlly (yes I can't spell) If the see a Hotpiont/Indesit van driving pass your house flag him down and ask him.. "could you please program my machine with your emit laptop? it's had a new card put I'll give you a tenner"
