I have a Tricity Bendix AW1401W 2 years old No power to the on/off button. I have checked if there is power from the socket, there is I have also checked if the power arrives to the contacts inside the machine - it does but the on/off power doesn't light up and little else happens! I have not mains tested the wires going into the button - should I give that a try? Thanks. John

you need live and neutral at the switch.if one side of the switch goes open then this can be the problem.also check outputs from mains filter.where the neon wires connect across the back of the on/off switch should be mains when switched on!
