Frontera 2.2tdi 1999, how do i disconnect the immobilisor?
How do i disconnect the immobilisor from the engine to enable me to eliminate the immobilisor as the problem to my car not starting.
I have tried everything else including diagnostics.
I suspect the fuel pump is the problem, but from information i have received here it could be something as simple as the immobilisor, as the ecu unit controls the pump and ive already swapped the ecu unit..any ideas please??
normally the engine management light will flash when ignition is on, this tells you that the vehicle is still immobiliesed. try checking if power is going to the fuel pump, wies are located under the rear seat
