How can I fix my Keyless Go function?

I have a 2001 Mercedes Benz S320 with keyless go. Recently, without warning, it has ceased to operate. I have replaced the batteries in the chip card but the system won't recognise it! What can I do?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

have you knock the deactivation button in the centre console or some model's have it located in central locking switch in the facia if these do not help you may need to have the car hooked up to diagnostic equipment to programme the fob
