i have a yamaha neos 100 and i got a 6v battery and its not powering the lights,electric start,etc. what size battery does it need

well its a 12 volt system for a start so your on the wrong track there,i think from memory that the battery it has is a ytx5bs which is a 12 volt 5 amp sealed battery.
