how can I fix my suzuki intuder?

How do I change the front brake pads on my 2001 suzuki intruder vs800
Nathan Childers, June 2006
Undo two screws on the chrome brake pad cover, remove the two retaining "R" pins which hold the two pad "rods" in place. Then pull both pad spring clips out and then slide both pad rods out (these may be difficult to pull out due to corrosion , so give them a mild tap with a hammer !! Once these pins are out the brake pads should just lift out. Remember do not press in the brake lever once the pads have been removed as this will casue the brake pistons to close and make putting the new pads in very difficult. Put the new pads in in the reverse order as taking them out !!
