the airbag light on my mazda 6 (2003 year) keeps flashing. how do i stop it?

Hi ,

i recently bought a car upgrade. the car is a mazda 6 (2003 year). I live in the United kingdom.

How can i get the lights ot stop flashing as the air bags and car seatbelts do not suggest it has been in a major accident or have been deployed?

Cheers

Check the connectors under the seats (wiring will be in a yellow sleeving) as these connectors often get pulled apart during seat adjustments or over enthusiastic cleaning under the seat, if this does'nt cure it you will need to get it connected to a code reader to find the fault

try the connector under the drivers seat m8 , usually what causes that , was on mine
