suzuki quadmaster 500?

How do i fix this.I cleaned the carb. and got it to idle but when i give it gas with the throttle it wants to die.

So cleaning the carb helped. If it dies when you throttle it still suggests the carb. You really have to be careful and make sure all the jets are nice and clear. Suzuki are excellent bikes so i doubt the carb needs replacing.
