try cleaning the air filter- take the foam bit out and wash it in petrol. While its out operate the choke control to see that it opens fully. If this doesn't restore revs, the exhaust may be blocked with carbon, so have a dig about in the exhaust pipe with a bit of wire or a screwdriver to try to remove enough blockage to let the motor breathe. good luck.
