motherboard in my Kenmore 80 series dryer supposed to warm up during use?

Is the motherboard in my Kenmore 80 series dryer supposed to warm up during use? What got into the connector a few days ago and it started to make electronical noises, so I dried it out and connected it again. It appears to be working fine
