How can I fix my Indesit IS70CS tumble dryer?

The empty water light on my tumble dryer will not go off even though there is no water in it. Can anyone advise me what to do to fix it?

Check your Pump and Float valve in the grey oblong box at back of machine,if it`s full off water, your pump knackered and this activates the float valve thus cutting off the thermostat
