blue smoke coming from exhaust on ride on mower?

After fitting a new belt on mountfield ride on mower there is now blue smoke coming from the exhaust.

In fitting the new belt you may have tipped the mower to one side or tilted it in some way to get oil into the combustion chamber. If this is the case smoke will disappear after running the engine for a short time. Check oil level
