how to fix spring?

i have a champion 40 with a b&s 3.5hp engine , it got 2 springs one of which is called the governer spring they have came off not a clue how or were they from.. need diagram or sum sort of info thanks

Take it to the local Briggs dealer, if you get the instalation wrong it could result in over reving the engine to the point where it could destroy it
