take the inlet hose off the back of the machine and hold it over a bucket.make sure there is good water pressure at this point.Sometimes the washing machine taps don't turn on properly BUT the plastic top turns fully as though it is fully on.remove the plastic tap piece and turn the brass bit with pliers or a spanner.kinked inlet hose?.check it.faulty inlet valve?.lid off and you will see how they fit.Final one is cold fill is actually on a hot feed.Check this!
