My machine displays f-05 fault code which is to do with the drainage, how can i tell what part of the drainage system is not working?
If I lower the drain hose it empties, could it be the pump?

I just repaired my Indesit WIL 62 washing machine that was not draining. I read about checking for blockage in the pump inlet and outlet. As I was doing this a small toy BB fell out of the pump housing. It aparently was jaming the pump vanes from turning. The pump motor would make a humming noise and get hot before the problem was fixed. Now it cycles normally. Thanks to the Indesit Engineers for creating a machine that is easy to work on.
