Break light stuck on peugot 206?

I recently found out my breaklights are stuck on and than i found this black and white thing hanging out behind the glove box on the passenger side of my car? Is that a break light switch? and how do i put it back in?

remove trim from under glovebox and push the switch back in the hole you will see.
