How do I fit new oil Filter in C5 Automatic Gearbox ?

An oil change will not fix a slipping transmission. I'm assuming you have an AL4 transmission. The filler plug is located under the inner part of the selector cable. The level bung is underneath. If it slips only in 1 and 2 then you have a partially broken band. Repost with more symptoms if further assistance needed

if you get a copy of haynes manual for your car full details in there. just remember, when you have put in correct type/amount of fluid, start car and keeping the brakes on, go though the gears to allow fluid to settle though-out the g/box.

hope it helps, October 2010
