1983 JCB 3cx drive problem (semi-automatic!!!!)?

Got a 1983 4WD sitemaster with the horrid semi-auto gearbox which will not move forwards or backwards. initially it only lost forward gear but eventually lost both, any advice would be greatly appreciated??? have checked hydraulic fluid and makes no difference either!?

Very likely as Ghost says. Also, you could check that the dump pedal is operating correctly. A collapsed g/box mounting can upset the linkage adjustment.

have you checked the gearbox oil level located next to the engine oil filler
