says wrong disc on my goodmans dvd player?

dvd comes up with "wrong disc"..i have tried cleaning disc and lens. im am now hearing my laser maybe "shot" cann this be repaired.

if you have cleaned the disk n lens and are using an original disk but still wont work then yes the laser is probaly had it. expensive repair its cheaper to replace.
