Piston back into caliber... how can I use the turning and pushing tool?

Piston back into caliber... how can I use the turning and pushing special tool when the caliper looks like a shell? there is no room to be able to place that tool to push/turn the piston into the caliper. Also, I read I can use needle nose pyers, is this safe for the seal around the piston?

First:
Rem. the master cylinder cap, allow that fluid to expand somewhere. If you've tough thumbs, pistons can be pushed in.
If the brake-pad gadget doesn't fit, small c-clamps work fine.
Be careful, the piston might be plastic!
I put a cheap flat-blade screwdriver in a vise and bend the blade to almost to right angle - best seal puller ever!
I also do the same with a scriber for fine work like locks .
Hope this helps. Take your time, get it right.
No 2nd chance with brakes !!!
