my samsung lcd tv wont switch on it just clicks?

Red light flashes and a clicking sound is heard. read that it can be DIY fixed cheaply. can anyone help on this!

you have leaky capacitors on your power supply

replace them with same value new capacitors

also may require new sms genral ic to be fitted in place of eprom chip

power on and let it self adjust ... do not switch the unit on it will come on itself
