how con i take up the slack on the drive belt on a zanussi tc470 tumble dri?

fitted a new belt but need to pivot motor to take up the slack in the drive belt as it is loose on the pulley

push the motor back as far as it will go so it is under loads of tension on the spring that holds it to the plastic base.now fit the belt around the motor shaft and drum and then let the motor tension go and it will tension the belt for you
