thomson dtr only showing in black and white?

I have a THOMSON DV3 DTR160 about 4 years old, which works in all respects except the picture is only in Black and White! Can anyone help please?

Thanks - a salesman in Comet suggested we tried the scart lead - we did this and it worked - so the solution was to change the scart lead, job done.
