fault code C9 on AEG 74620 Lavamat Update?

My washing machine AEG 74620 Lavamat Update is showing a fault code C9. Can you tell me what this means?

It finished a wash but didnt spin the clothes.

motor brushes worn out,be aware that the control pcb has to be put in to test mode to clear fault code before new brushes will work on some models!
