I was fixin my puncture on my bak tyre and when i put it bak together bk shock was really bouncey and when you picked the bike up by the bk seat the wheel part hanged and a round meatal piece with a slice out of it fell out now the bk of the bike has gone rite down where the mechanism come apart inside the shock.how do i put it bk together?

Hi, personally i would bin them. sounds like they have lost all damping, hence the boucing you said about and probably because of this the springs have compressed too much to be of any use, because the moment the weight of the bike was taken off them, the springs were short enough to let the collet fall out! you would normally need a spring compressor tool for this job.
