GPS won't work?

I left my GPS in the car trunk and it apparently got too cold, and won't turn on. Can it be repaired, or is it cheaper to just replace it? It is a TomTom one

Leave it in a very warm place - on top of boiler or in an airing cupboard for 2 days - then try switching it on !
