How can i fix my packard bell easynote laptop?

i have bought a packard bell easy note 1100 it has windows xp professional on it seems to be a dodgy copy. i would like to reset it to factory settings as it was when it was new, i have tryed the F11 route and im not getting any luck with that i have no restore cd's nor any restore software can somebody help me im at the end of my patience.

You need to understand that the way one "reset it to factory settings as it was when it was new" is by reinstalling Windows. So in order to do that you need either a Recovery Partition on the Hard Disk or a Recovery CD(s).

If you do not have either then I am afraid that your only option is to buy a set of software. For more help try Packard-Bell support on www.thetechguys.co.uk .
